A daiquiri-highball mash-up: tart Otaheite apple shrub meets Scotch-bonnet syrup and Appleton Signature for a bright hit of Kingston heat.

Recipe

Steps:

  • Muddle Otaheite apple slices and strips of scotch bonnet pepper in a shaker
  • Add Appleton Estate 12 Year Old Rare Casks rum, Sour Cherry Schnapps, lime juice, simple syrup and ginger extract to the shaker
  • Add ice to shaker and shake well
  • Add ice to glass and strain mix over ice
  • Garnish with a slice of Otaheite apple
